The purpose of this organization is to preserve Kansas history, to show loyalty to Kansas traditions, to honor our pioneer ancestors, and to instill the ideals of patriotism in youth.  Once a year the Native Sons and Daughters of Kansas hosts a banquet to honor individuals who have passed on Kansan traditions and have helped cement the foundation of what it means to be a Kansan through extraordinary means.
